Subsidised Training and Skillsets for Tasmanians

Ruralbiz Training are compiling EOI’s from self-employed farmers and farm employees who are interested in undertaking online agricultural training at a highly subsidised price (approximately 90% of course fees are covered by the Department of State Growth, through the Tasmanian Existing Worker Fund). This reduces a Diploma of Agriculture or Agribusiness from $12,000 down to approximately $1,000.

All our courses are fully online and self-paced, making them a great addition to those already working in Agriculture or Agribusiness. Training will commence from February 2026 with our Diploma courses taking approximately 2 years to complete (part-time, 10 hours/week) and our skillsets taking approximately 4 months to complete (part-time, 10 hours/week).
