Planned Burn Workshop

The Red Hot Tips team, along with the support and access of an existing Red Hot Tips landowner’s property, is planning a FREE demonstration burn in the north within the next week!

What does this mean? What is It?

• Red Hot Tips Staff will go through an existing plan for the site with you on the day.
• We will look at fuel assessments.
• We will look at fuel and soil moisture.
• We will look at key factors in the planning.
• We will look at and demonstrate equipment to be used.
• We will look at and demonstrate personal protective equipment.
• We will support the landowner to undertake the burn, providing great opportunities for you to touch/see and feel how fire behaves like under different lighting strategies and techniques.
• You will be able to assist or watch the burn from start to finish with a breakout session at the end for Q and A.
